Samples required 24h & 48h post high dose.
Specimens collected from patients who have received glucarpidase (carboxypeptidase G2) as a high dose methotrexate rescue therapy should not be tested for at least 48hrs following the last dose of glucarpidase. These specimens have increased concentrations of DAMPA, a methotrexate metabolite which is known to cross-react with the methotrexate antibody used in this assay.

Time of dose
Number of hrs since administration.
